In the recent era, the world is changing more digitally. Most of our work can be done easily with smartphones in the comfort of our home. Learning is also possible through digital platforms. This pandemic situation has made these platforms more popular and possible.


Learning here, I mean not only for students but also for adults like you and me. It may sound crazy like why I should learn now? What for? Most probably, it takes us to our good old memories. Learning means taking notes, doing homework, preparing for exams, waiting for results, getting a report card. As humans, we have to cross through that process for certain years.



But imagine the kind of learning where you can learn anything you like at your own pace. Sounds cool. Now, it is possible to learn anything under the sun. Learning new things has got a lot of benefits,

1) Reduces Alzheimer's disease.

2) Increases your grasping power.

3) You become more adaptable and flexible for new environments.

Udemy



Udemy is an online learning platform. It is widely popular and has over 35 million students and is taught in various languages. It has a wide variety of courses such as web Designing, Digital marketing, Copywriting, Photography, Makeup, Drawing, Psychology, Personal development, Time Management, etc….


Udemy has both free and paid courses. You have to pay for the course you like to learn. Discounts and coupons are provided for most of the courses so that you don’t end up paying the full amount. Paid courses provide you certification. This is a good learning platform to develop your skill and knowledge.


Skillshare



Skillshare is an online learning community. As the name suggests, it is a platform for sharing knowledge and skill. It mainly focuses on creative learning. Their top courses are Graphic design, photography, Creative writing, Animation, Music, web design, etc…


Skillshare courses are bite-sized courses and project-based learning. Most of the courses range anywhere between 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on the course content. Coursera is another online learning platform founded by Standford University Computer Science Professors. Topics covered are Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Medicine, Biology, History, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Robotics, Machine Learning, etc…

Future Learn



Futurelearn is a digital education platform. It is jointly owned by The open university and the SEEK group. Most prominent courses are related to Business, Health care, Science, Mathematics, Engineering.


Futurelearn offers Free, upgrade, and Unlimited plan. In the Free plan, you can access free courses. In the upgrade plan, you can access courses with certification. National Digital Library of India



The National Digital Library of India is the initiative taken by the Government. It is a digital repository containing textbooks, articles, videos, lectures, audiobooks, journals, thesis regarding various topics. Instructables is a website containing the do-it-yourself project. This has all the info you need to start a project from scratch. It can be decorating your home or making a jewelry set or 3D printing or Aurdino projects, it can be anything. It provides step by step guidelines to complete the work.


Investopedia



Do you want to learn about finances, investment? Then this is the right website. This website teaches you about money, finances, investment, marketing. All things about money. If you are a person interested in learning about all this stuff, check out this website and also Northwestern Mutual.


Recipe Puppy



This site is mainly for cooking enthusiasts. Are you often bored with cooking the same dishes? Do you want to try something new? Don’t worry. Go to this website, enter your ingredients list, and search. This will show you the number of dishes you can prepare with the ingredients you have. You can make different dishes with the available ingredients.


Duolingo



This website/app is for learning new languages. If are interested in learning languages, you can try this site. This is best suited for learning multiple languages and you can learn a lot of new words and phrases. Becoming fluent in that languages depends on your effort and motivation. Duolingo has both a free and paid version. The free version is more than enough for beginners. Other language learning apps are Babbel, Mondly, Memrise.


Digital Photography School



This is a blogging site containing lots of resources regarding photography. This is an online photographers community and blogs are written by photographers. You can find most of the resources related to food photography, wedding photography, tips and tricks for beginners, handling equipment, and many more. Apart from that, courses and e-books are also available. Other photography blog sites worth checking are Fstoppers and Petapixel.


WikiHow



This website answers most of your how-to questions. It provides well researched, step by step guidelines for a how-to-do question. It covers a lot of topics like arts and crafts, home appliances, pets, home decors, Finance and Business, Philosophy, Religion, Sports, etc…You can also write your article on this site.


Quora



Quora is an online question and answer platform. Users can ask a question on any topic and anyone who is related to that field or who has the knowledge to answer the question will answer. This platform is completely free and the answer provided may not be absolutely correct as it depends on each individual. But this platform is very useful to gain knowledge and to get an overall perspective of the topic.


TED talks



TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. TED is a non-profit organization that stands for its slogan ”Ideas worth sharing”. They posts talks of speakers from different walks of life, different countries, different culture to share their knowledge and experience. It's worth watching to know about the experience of personals from various fields.
